Frankston Toyota has its origins in a small filling station on Wells Road owned and operated for many years by local identity Murray Macintosh. Purchased in 1978, the business quickly became a major Toyota, Rambler, Volkswagen and Triumph dealership, evolving in the 1980s into a specialist Toyota and Mercedes Benz operation.
In 1992 Michael Beamish joined his father’s business and began to develop a full and exclusive relationship with Toyota. Michael was in full control of the business by 2001, when Howard Bould joined as a partner, and links with Toyota were fully established.
In the few short years since, Frankston Toyota has grown to be the number one Toyota dealership in the Bayside area and one of the nation’s most recognised. Frankston Toyota is only the second dealer in Australia and one of only a handful worldwide to trial the new parts and service program that will revolutionise the motor vehicle service industry - the Toyota Service Marketing program. Frankston Toyota is now accredited by Toyota Motor Corporation as Level 2 TSM.
The program sets the benchmark at which other dealers aim. Its objective is to make landmark improvements in customer convenience and increased service traffic. By focusing on better customer service, reduced production lead-times through workshop efficiencies, improvements and cost reductions, and marketing desirable service products we will continue to meet rising customer expectations.
For example, it will not be too long before we are able to offer a one-hour turnaround on every vehicle service. This is increasingly ‘normal service’ at Frankston Toyota; our Express Maintenance Service delivers your fully-serviced and freshly-washed vehicle back to you in one hour and you can watch the whole operation on CCTV from our comfortable lounge.

Frankston Toyota is honoured to support a number of local organisations and worthy causes. Our sponsorship program is reviewed each year and receives an allocation in our annual budget. Applications for sponsorship are welcomed and will be sympathetically considered in the review process. Once the budget is established, no changes or additions will be made.
